The Moray branch of Marie Curie was given a cheque for £1600 raised when customers bought our ceramic daffodil bird feeders.
Marie Curie provide care and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. Last year alone the charity cared for over 40,000 people across the UK.

Community Fundraiser, Vonnie Carson said: “We are delighted to have the support of Mackenzie & Cruickshank this year and especially promoting the charity throughout our Great Daffodil Appeal in March. Our Marie Curie nurses provide hands on care and support through terminal illness and although most have heard of the charity, many still not clear on how we can help. Raising awareness through local businesses in Moray is hugely important to us.”

The cheque was handed over to Moray fundraiser, Alan Marshall, Marie Curie nurse and Corrina Reid and Vonnie Carson.

Thirza Cruickshank, coffee shop manager at M&C said: “We are delighted with the sum raised but it comes as no surprise to us as our customers are always so generous. We have been delighted to support Marie Curie and we have no doubt they will be at other events we hold in the future.”
